Organic Insecticide - Plant Nutrient

ONGARD is based on Diatomaceous Earth (DE) and to boost its plant protectant properties, fortified with unique natural botanical extracts and oils 

Insecticidal/Miticidal activity of ONGARD is by cutting, abrading and desiccation of insect/mite pests and their eggs by DE, aided by the blend of Natural/Organic Botanical Oils and Extracts 

ONGARD is very effective on the soft tissues of insect joints

Fungal control properties are caused by desiccation effect of the ONGARD spray/residues and the increase in plant health and resistance, high pH effect and certain metal elements in the formulation

For plant growth, ONGARD supplies a range of plant nutrients – macro N, P, K, Ca, Fe, Si plus trace minerals

The plant nutrients in ONGARD are derived from Bio-Ferment Technology (BFT) - Liquified Plant/Microalgae, Micronized Volcanic Rock and contains Bio-stimulants such as natural plant growth auxins

ONGARD contains a unique organic wetter spreader system to give coverage of difficult to wet plant foliage (waxy) and pests  

Silica is known to effect plant growth and quality, photosynthesis and enhances plant resistance to stresses such as drought

Silica improves plant tolerance to high temperatures and has a positive effect on transpiration

ONGARD aids in the promotion of faster growth, higher plant/fruit nutrient density, higher brix levels and longer product shelf life 

WHAT IS DIATOMACEOUS EARTH (DE)?

DE is made up of fossilized remains of tiny, sharp, very hard diatom shells (phytoplankton) and is very high in silica (SO2). DE is found in Australian ancient deposits. 

Using ONGARD, insects/mites dehydrate and slow death occurs usually within 24-48 hrs. This killing action is a mechanical not a chemical one.

DE in ONGARD causes insects/mites to dry out and die by loss of water and absorbing the oils and fats from the cuticle (skin) of the exoskeleton or eggs.

Strictly no animal products such as blood, bones, feathers, fish, prawn, animal manures, composted poultry, pig manure and no Urea is used in ONGARD
